Beauty Blogger: My Daily Makeup and Face Routine
By Jillian Cener
Hello readers! This week I thought I’d take a break from my normal type of article and tell you all a little bit about my makeup & face routine. I hope you find it fun to read!
Every night, I take off my makeup with Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($7.99 at drugstore.com). I wash my face with Tom’s of Maine Sensitive, Natural Beauty Bar Soap ($5.99 at drugstore.com) and pat dry. Then, I apply a layer of Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer, SPF 15 ($13.99 at drugstore.com) and acne cream that I get from my dermatologist.
In the morning, I skip washing my face and go right to applying my makeup. First, I use Bobbi Brown Corrector in Bisque ($22 at Nordstrom.com) over any problem areas I have. Next, I cover my entire face with Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Original Foundation SPF 15 in Golden Medium ($26.00 at Nordstrom.com).
I brush on some CoverGirl Cheekers Blush in Rose Silk (now called CoverGirl Classic Color Blush, $5.49 at drugstore.com). For my eyes, I use a variety of different shades from my e.l.f. Studio Endless Eyes Pro Eyeshadow Palette – Limited Edition ($10 at eyeslipsface.com). Next, I use Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Forest Shimmer Ink ($22 at Nordstrom.com) and Maybelline Great Lash Washable Mascara in Very Black ($4.99 at drugstore.com). Finally, I put on whatever chapstick I happen to be carrying around; right now, it’s Blistex Lip Protectant, SPF 15 in Raspberry Lemonade Blast ($1.75 at drugstore.com). Like I’ve said in previous articles, I always make sure to clean my makeup brushes when I’m done using them.
So there you have it! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
Until next time,
Jillian
