Andrew Garfield is one of Hollywood’s most rising stars. The ‘Spiderman’ hunk will be heating up the silver screen along-side real life girlfriend Emma Stone on July 3 and it got us here at Pink and Black thinking, we want to know more about about him!  Well, we did our research and it turns out we love him even more than before.

Andrew Garfield first came under our radar in the 2010 critically acclaimed hit “The Social Network,” but this A-lister has been acting since his teenage years. Garfield seems to have a natural given talent of acting, at the age of 12 his parents enrolled him in theater classes at his home in Surrey, England. Some of his co-stars would say he was destined for success as he first appeared on television screens in 2005 with a small role on the English teen drama, “Sugar Rush.”

Within two years his career began to skyrocket and it showed. He was named to Variety’s “10 Actors to Watch” and appeared along-side notable actors such as Tom Cruise in “Lions for Lambs.” It’s clear Andrew is every bit as talented to match his movie star good looks, Emma is a very lucky woman. Though he has been recognized by his on-camera presence, it’s his theater roots that have brought him back to the stage (and prove his versatility!).

In March, the Brit made his Broadway debut in New York City playing Biff Loman in the critically-acclaimed revival of “Death of a Salesman.” He was so successful in his Broadway run, that he was nominated for a 2012 Tony Award for Best Feature Actor in a Play. We know Andrew is so talented, we can’t wait to see this star’s next career move.
