Over the years, drugstore products have grown exponentially and proven that they can deliver high quality at affordable prices. No matter what you need, the drugstore has it and you won’t have to worry about getting less bang for your buck because the products are truly fantastic. Here at the Pink and Black, we’ve narrowed down some of our favorites in various categories, and we’d love to share them with you! Keep reading for suggestions that are sure to make you and your wallet very happy.

Skin Care

Brands like Cetaphil and Clean & Clear are standouts at the drugstore. Cetaphil caters to all skin types with its gentle formulation, and Clean & Clear is there for any of your unique skin care needs, such as acne.

Base Makeup

Rimmel and Hard Candy both have great primers that have been talked about many a time on makeup beauty blogs and sites. At around $8 each, they’re definitely worth a try!

Hands down, Revlon Colorstay Foundation is the best you’re going to find at the drugstore. It’s medium-full coverage and 16+ hour staying power make this a true knockout.

Maybelline and Hard Candy are among the highest-quality when it comes to concealer. Whether you’re looking for high coverage or a lighter consistency, these brands have what you need!

Once again, Maybelline is where it’s at if you’re looking for an affordable and effective setting powder. NYC also has loose powder that comes with tons of product for only about $3.

Eyes

Wet n’ Wild has truly stepped up its game throughout the years. At a $2 – $5 price range, their eyeshadows are at the top when it comes to affordability and diverse selection. And did we mention that the pigmentation of their shadows are absolutely phenomenal? They are.

Covergirl and Maybelline are where it’s at when it comes to eyeliner and mascara. New products that emphasize high color payoff and lasting power have gotten them ahead of the pack at the drugstore and we don’t see them going anywhere.

Cheeks

Eyes. Lips. Face. That about covers it, doesn’t it? E.l.f. makeup hit the scene with Essential products at $1 and Studio products starting at $3. Too good to be true, right? Nope! The e.l.f. Contouring Blush and Bronzer duo are absolutely amazing and only costs $3 for both in one sleek black compact. The e.l.f Studio blushes come with a lot of product, pigmentation with a punch, and a $3 price tag = heaven! With a Golden Bronzer that gives the most beautiful glow to the skin, this brand is definitely one to keep watching.

NYC Sunny bronzer, don’t think we forgot about you! At around $3, this is the best matte bronzer on the market at the drugstore.

Lips

Revlon has really expanded their lip product category. From their Super Lustrous lipsticks and glosses to lip balms and stains, they’ve got it all and it all looks great to us!
