Just like many of you, we were shocked when we heard about Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. In the few days since the breaking news, several sources have revealed the nature of Stewart and Sanders and how it has affected their co-stars, not to mention Pattinson and Sanders’ wife, model Liberty Ross. With all the new information, it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle so we’ve created a timeline of events to keep up to date with.

July 17: The date of the indiscretion between Stewart and Sanders. She is seen leaving her home in Los Feliz that she shares with boyfriend Robert Pattinson. After hitting up the gym and a local hotspot hiking trail, they were caught by a paparazzo canoodling and kissing in her car and in the park.

July 24: A couple of days after hitting the Teen Choice Awards together, Rob and Kristen experience the dawn of a new age: twipocalypse. Us Weekly released a thumbnail teaser image of their cover story featuring the scandal. Panic ensues.

July 25: In an unexpected gesture during this media whirlwind, Stewart releases a public statement claiming that the “indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.” The same day, Sanders’ wife tweets several cryptic messages including the quote “sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”

July 26: People Magazine reports Rob Pattinson was spotted moving out of his house he shares with Kristen. Sources say their three-year romance is unrepairable and the couple is not speaking to each other.

July 28: Kristen has also moved out of their house. People confirms from sources that Rob is giving her the cold shoulder and has said in previous interviews that he “never understood why people cheat.”

We can only assume the press tour for Breaking Dawn: Part 2 is going to be extremely awkward. The pair was also set to present an award at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. Only time will tell if these two lovebirds will reconcile, or if the last kisses we see will be on the big screen.
