Three Ways to Rock Colored Denim
By Pilar Orellana
What seems like virtually overnight, colored denim has become one of the biggest trends to hit the street and does not seem to be going away. Denim jeans are a great way to cheer up your outfit during summer days. We all love a good pair of colored jeans, whether it is bright or pastel, because they always have a way of catching our eyes.
Perhaps you have already given in to buying some colored denim, and you may ask yourself, “How do I wear this? It may look so good on the model and on Pinterest, but how do I make a cool pair of colored jeans look good with things in my closet?”
Here are some easy outfits choices that will not make you look like a bright M&M, but make you look like the fashionista that you are.
Neutral
You can never go wrong with the classics: black, white, cream and brown. Any pair of bright jeans would look great with one of these colors. Whether it is a white button-down shirt, a sheer black top or a cream cardigan. If you’re hesitant on a bright bottom, this is a great way to balance bright and neutral colors together.
Prints
For a more fun and edgier way to rock your colored jeans, bold prints will for sure make that statement for you. Try animal print, polka dots, stripes, floral prints, geometric prints, or any kind of print that will make your outfit look playful and trendy. For a great night out on the town, pair a bright red denim jean with a leopard print blouse with nude tone heels for a fiery red vixen look.
Colorblock
Many girls’ favorite outfit for spring and summer is pairing solid colors together. It’s definitely a bold style move, but if done right, “Chic” will be your middle name. Whether you’re pairing hot pink and orange or mint green and purple, take the challenge and combine bold colors with bold colors and pastels with pastels. Combine a red orange sheer top with a deep purple denim jean and simple timepiece jewelry to favor this loud ensemble.
Now go get yourself some colored denim, and rock these three awesome ways to style colored jeans!
