Five 90′s TV Shows to Remember

Five 90′s TV Shows to Remember

Let’s travel back to the 90’s, a time filled with tamagotchi pets, MASH, The Spice Girls, Lisa Frank and the some of the best kid TV shows ever! Remembering back to your childhood there are always things you will never forget and here is a list of shows that you should always remember that will make you nostalgic for your yesteryears.

Boy Meets World
Boy Meets World was the quintessential 90’s show that follows Cory Matthews while growing up and looks at the challenges he faces with the help along the way from his family, friends, and mentor, Mr. George Feeny. Whether we were watching Eric do his “Feeny” yell, Shawn get into trouble or Corey and Topanga saying, ‘I do,” this show has always left us wishing we could be there, right with them.

All That
This sketch comedy show always caused a lot of laughs due to the amazing comedic cast. The show introduced some of our favorite 90’s comedians like Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, who then starred in Kenan & Kel together and then Kenan went onto become a SNL cast member. Amanda Bynes also went on to star on her own show, The Amanda Show, and since has started a film career starring in, She’s the ManHairspray, and more. Lori Beth Denberg also started on All That and later became a regular on The Steve Harvey Show.

Bug Juice
This Disney Channel reality series looked at real kids spending their summers at summer camp. The show would look at the struggles that the kids faced when away from home, like homesickness, relationships, friendships, and self-discovery. This was the start of our reality TV show addiction as we watched a bunch of kids have the drama-filled summers taped for our enjoyment.

Even Stevens
This show looks at the Stevens family, in particular the two younger children, the seemingly perfect Ren and the screwball comedian Louis, who are constantly bickering due to their polar opposite personalities. Watching Louis (Shia LaBeouf, Transformers) dress up as a penguin jockey for Halloween, get caught up in a disastrous chocolate selling scheme and befriend his bacon loving neighbor, Beans continues to put a smile on our faces after all these years.

Are you Afraid of the Dark?
Even though we could barely get through the opening black and white credits of this show without being scared senseless when we were kids this show compelled you to watch it, no matter how many nightmares it gave you. Are you Afraid of the Dark followed a group of kids called The Midnight Society as they told spooky tales around the campfire, about ghosts, aliens, and all the things that go bump in the night.

Honorable Mentions: So Weird, Sister, Sister, The Wild Thornberrys, Lizzie McGuire and Wishbone. What were your favorite 90’s TV shows?
