Ever since I’ve been on this “I need to get in shape” fix for the past few months, I’ve wanted to attempt to complete a 5K. I live in a city in Maryland that is surrounded by large cities, all of which sponsor 5K events every few months (mainly in Baltimore and Annapolis). Alright ladies, it’s time to take off the baggy tee shirts and sweatpants. An accomplished feeling during a work out is a must-have attitude, however, a visually appealing work-out outfit can boost you up even more. It’s time to invest in a new workout wardrobe!
Your workout apparel should not reveal too much of your body to give you an uncomfortable, overexposed feeling, but it should also not be large to the extent where you feel like you’re swimming in your clothes. If you don’t feel very comfortable with your body, consider wearing a zippered hoodie paired with lounge pants instead of an XXL tee shirt with thick sweatpants.
