With the warm summer months in full swing, it’s the perfect time to get up and get going! Instead of always grabbing for the keys, use this wonderful weather to exercise a few other means of transportation. There are so many great reasons why it is a good idea to cut down on the time you spend in the car. It’s not only great for the environment but it will also save you some money with the ever rising price of gas. Maybe it’s time to explore some other options for the beautiful summer months?

On two feet: Yes, the easiest mode of transportation there is… walking! If you’re heading to a store in town that isn’t too far away, why not ditch the car break out those cute summer shoes you’ve been dying to wear? If your friend lives on the way to your destination, shoot them a text and ask if they’d like to join in on your little adventure.
